Power supplies and adapters convert high voltage AC to low voltage DC, which is commonly used to power modern computing, industrial, commercial, and consumer equipment. Due to their connection to higher fault current potential sources and exposure to hazardous overcurrent events, these products need reliable primary circuit protection.

Kang Yang offers an extensive range of reliable, high-quality fuse accessories to integrate overcurrent protection devices in various desired positions for isolation or easy fuse replacement. Our fuse holders are designed to accommodate different types of fuses, such as ATO/ATC (common in automotive applications) and glass cartridge fuses. These holders and clips are directly soldered onto the PCB.

Among our offering are also isolated housings to accommodate axial leaded fuses. They are offered in types which simply isolate the fuse or versions supporting vertical mounting to keep these axial leaded fuses securely in place.

Our most economical options are the non-isolated, nickel plated Phosphor Bronze fuse clips, commonly used in low-cost applications. Kang Yang’s 5 mm cartridge and axial leaded fuses are utilized in various applications, including power supplies and adapters, battery chargers, set-top boxes, air conditioners, gaming systems, and many more.

The primary purpose of the power cord retention clips are to prevent accidental disconnection of the cord, which could cause the system to stop functioning. The Kang Yang IEC retaining clips are a method of securing your power cord to your system.

We have recently added 2 versions to our extensive range of power cord retention solutions. The adjustable clamp is now suitable for even more IEC AC connectors. Our latest addition is suited for a cable/connector diameter range of 7-16mm and can be obtained with a push-in mounting, suitable for a 4.8mm chassis hole. Alternatively, the same part can be supplied with a 2-screw fixation to the chassis.

Kang Yang has added a new protection cover to its already wide range of dust caps. 

This new cover is intended for the OSFP (Octal Small Form Factor Pluggable) an optical module with eight high-speed electrical lanes supporting 400 Gbps (8x50G).

M.2, (pronounced m dot two) and formerly known as the Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF), is a specification for internally mounted computer expansion cards and associated connectors. These cards are often used for SSD’s, Wi-Fi, NFC, Digital Radio and Bluetooth expansion.

Kang Yang offers a wide range of mounting latches that fix the module and keep it in place. These latches offer a convenient alternative to M.2 screws eliminating concerns about over tightening or compatibility issues and make the installation easier and quicker.

The full Kang Yang M.2 latch range includes Snap-In versions, Snap-In Turn Supports for additional safety locking, conductive versions, spring loaded fixations and versions to accommodate two M.2 boards.

Our Kang Yang International Team spent the last 2 weeks in Asia to visit our Headquarters in Taiwan and to see our brand new 18.600m² factory in Hanoi/Vietnam.

Vietnam ranked seventh out of 78 countries to start a business, up 5 places from a year earlier. This reflects Vietnam’s business-friendly policies that stand out from most of its peers in Southeast Asia. With the opening of this facility Kang Yang wants to further strengthen its global position.

This new facility is our biggest so far and will benefit from the latest technologies in terms of organization, logistics and plastic processing, such as 2 shot molding. The factory is conveniently located close to Hanoi International Airport.
